Yellow
Cab of Prince William County is a family owned and operated
business serving your local and long distance transportation needs
since 1979. In 1979, Ira Cochran purchased Radio Cab Company (founded
in the 1940s) and Quantico Yellow (founded in the 1940s).
The combination
of these two cab companies became Yellow Cab of Prince William
County. With that much experience you know we are not only the
largest cab company, but also our years of experience has made
us the best in the area.
Yellow Cab’s large fleet of cabs offers 24-hours a day, 7 days
a week service and are computer dispatched, well maintained, and equipped
with GPS. Our on-site repair facility maintains all cabs to ensure a
safe ride.

All of our drivers are independent contractors and our dispatch center
is completely computerized. All Yellow Cabs are equipped with mobile
data terminals allowing real time communication with drivers and dispatchers
to ensure you the best and fastest service possible.
 Each vehicle is equipped with GPS for:
- Location tracking
- Recording of travel route used
- Determination of closest available
vehicle for efficient dispatching

Our executive sedan service is charged an hourly rate costing less
than a limousine. Book our sedan service for your next night on the
town or long trip to the airport.
Safety is what Yellow Cab gives back to the community it serves. Every
holiday season, Yellow cab participates in the SoberRide program. This
program offers a free ride home if someone has had too much fun to
drive home safely.
Rates for taxi cabs in Prince William County are:
$3.00 for the first 1/12 of a mile, or fraction thereof for a single
passenger
$0.15 for each additional 1/12 of a mile, or fraction thereof
$1.00 for each additional passenger, in excess of one, over two years
of age
$0.15 for each thirty-six seconds of waiting time (no charge for distance)
$2.00 Personal service charge (when driver must leave the vicinity
of the Taxi)
